It’s izzy!
I believe the graveyard is the richest place in the world.
It is a reminder that so many ideas, stories and dreams never get the chance to be lived. I carry that belief into everything I create. In a brainstorm, nothing is too out there. In an edit, there is always another version worth trying. I create relentlessly because I do not want to leave anything behind in this life, especially untold stories.
I grew up as a military kid, never having a fixed address, and that constant movement taught me how to observe, adapt and find beauty wherever I landed. That way of living shaped both who I am and how I work. It is why I am drawn to people, culture and moments that feel real. I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I spent years learning the art of advertising, public relations and timing.
My work is inspired by the art of noticing, film, drag, disco, internet culture and the subtle ways people interact with one another. I aim to create work that moves us forward while honoring what the past has already taught us, blending nostalgia with what is next. Outside of social media and digital storytelling, I bartend, do makeup and photography, and perform as an actor, singer and model, all different ways of studying human connection and turning everyday moments into something worth remembering.
